Handstands Around the World turns 2!

Wow! I can’t believe I published my very first post two years ago today!

What a journey it’s been…and I’ve still only made it as far as 2014 in chronicling my adventures. But I guess that’s a good thing, because it means I have many more years of posts to write, and you guys have many more of my adventures to read about.

Speaking of which, this blog wouldn’t exist without all of you, so THANK YOU SO MUCH! It still amazes me and humbles me that people are interested in reading about my life. After all, I’m just a 20-something teacher/scientist who travels around the US and Canada on a budget, driving and hiking and taking a million photos along the way.

But I’m glad I have a place to share my adventures, and I’m so happy that so many of you enjoy following along virtually.

Big news for 2018: Pat and I are off to Costa Rica in 2 short months! We’re going for the wedding of one of my good friends, but we’ll also have a couple days to do some exploring…which means I’ll finally have the chance to do a handstand somewhere that’s not North America!

(Yes, I know Central America is technically part of the North American continent…but please just let me have this one.)

I can’t wait to start traveling more of the world, expanding my horizons and sharing it with you all. But in the meantime, thank you so much for reading and commenting and sharing your adventure stories with me in return.

Here’s to year #3!

  1. Here’s to many more years of your blog! (And handstands outside North America 😉) Travelling on a budget and taking a gazillion photos along the way is my sort of travel, and I love seeing all your photos of the US/Canadian National Parks.
